Week Fifty Two: My First Year in England

To the left of this column you'll find a series of small articles detailing my journey to England. I had 9 weeks to prepare for my move, and each one has it's own definite mood. And now that I'm here, and finally an official American Living in England, I've decided to keep up the entries for a few weeks, depending on how I feel. There is adjustment to be done, and even though I knew a lot of what to expect when I got here, I also know that there will be adjustments I never could have prepared for. So sit back and enjoy these if you will... it's just a little peek into my own experience throwing myself across the ocean to be with the man that I love.

... i'm leaving on a jet plane don't know when i'll be back again ...
